St. John’s will fly down to the Bahamas to participate in four-team Baha Mar Bahamas Championship tournament in the 2024-2025 season, according to a report by Jon Rothstein today.
The event will be held at the Baha Mar Convention Center, with the games itself being held in one of the venue’s ballrooms. The Red Storm will joined by Tennessee and Baylor, two of the strongest brands in men’s college basketball, with a fourth team to be determined.
St. John’s athletic director Mike Cragg joined the Eye of the Storm podcast to discuss the school’s participation in the Baha Mar tournament, among other topics, where he hinted that the fourth team in the field will likely be a recent national champion.
