St. John’s soccer takes down Boston University in overtime in a whirlwind game.
On Friday night at Belson Stadium, the St. John’s soccer team defeated Boston University by a score of 3-2 in overtime, despite the Red Storm blowing a two-goal lead in the second half.
St. John’s got off to a perfect start in the game as the Johnnies secured the early lead after just six minutes through Einar Lye.
Andrew Bennett and Brandon Knapp would combine to get the Johnnies into the box and Knapp slid a pass into Lye who slotted the ball home to get the Red Storm on the board.
