The Red Storm’s 2019 recruiting has focused mostly on a set of players the staff has recruited for years from the area. But a guard who blew up over the summer — and whose Director of Player Development has a St. John’s connection — may be a player the Johnnies land in the Fall signing period.
St. John’s has targeted combo guard James Bishop, Jr., a 6’2”, 180 pound lefty scorer from Baltimore. He has added the Red Storm to his top six, and has set an official visit to St. John’s on September 15th as part of a whirlwind fall, per Julius Kim.
