St. John’s basketball suffered back-to-back losses following a Delaware offensive explosion.
Following its first loss of the season at home against Villanova, the St. John’s basketball program added another game and tried to bounce back against Delaware.
The Red Storm (2-2, 0-1 Big East) were unable to corral the explosive offense of the Blue Hens (3-0) as the Johnnies fell, 93-88.
St. John’s saw a career day from sophomore Leilani Correa as she dropped a career-high 35 points and senior Qadashah Hoppie made her season debut, adding 23 points in the losing cause.
