Former St. John’s basketball standout Sir’Dominic Pointer was named to the NBA G-League All-Defensive Team for the 2019-20 season.
Friday it was announced that former St. John’s basketball player Sir’Dominic Pointer was named to the NBA G-League All-Defensive team for his accomplishments this past season.
Pointer averaged 11.9 points on 44.4 percent shooting and 33.3 percent from three-point range along with 5.5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1.9 steals per game.
Because of the coronavirus shutdown of the NBA G-League, Pointer was limited to just 43 games in his third season with the Canton Charge, the G-League affiliate for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
