St. John’s basketball guard Posh Alexander gets his second straight weekly honor.
For the second straight week, St. John’s basketball (11-7, 5-6 Big East) guard Posh Alexander was named as the Big East’s Freshman of the Week for the second straight week.
Alexander averaged 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.5 steals while shooting 50.0-percent from the field and 37.5-percent from three-point range in two road victories over DePaul and Marquette.
The 6-foot, 205 pound Brooklyn, New York native now has been named as the Big East Freshman of the Week for the third time in his colligate career and has created more conversation around the Big East Freshman of the Year Award.
