St. John’s basketball dropped a heartbreaker in overtime against Georgetown.
After wins in two of its last three games, the St. John’s basketball team was looking to keep things rolling at home against the Georgetown Hoyas (2-13, 2-13 Big East).
The Red Storm (7-13, 4-11 Big East) previously defeated Georgetown in late January, 70-53, snapping a five-game losing streak.
However, the Johnnies got off to a slow start, trailing by as many as ten points in the second quarter but St. John’s would slowly chip away thanks to a career-best performance from Unique Drake with 22 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
