St. John’s basketball dominates on the road in a rout of the Georgetown Hoyas.
The St. John’s basketball team bounced back from their heartbreaking loss to Villanova on Monday night by dominating the Georgetown Hoyas in the nation’s capital.
The Red Storm (5-9, 2-7 Big East) controlled the game against Georgetown (1-6, 1-6 Big East) after a slow start in the first quarter after which they trailed 18-12.
After its poor offensive start, the Red Storm would flex their muscles in the second and third quarters, outscoring the Hoyas 39-21 in that span leading to a 70-53 win.
