After picking up seven Big East weekly honor nods — and exploding during St. John’s wins over Duke, Villanova and Marquette — Shamorie Ponds earns a well-deserved spot on the five player 2018 Big East First Team, the league announced today.
From the Big East’s release:
St. John’s Ponds garnered All-Big East First Team accolades after being named to the Big East All-Freshman Team last season.
