St. John’s gained an incoming freshman today, but may have lost a rising junior in Sedee Keita.
Keita, who started three games for last year’s Red Storm team while fighting off an early-season knee injury, has chosen to transfer from St. John’s.
For some, Keita did not live up to expectations, but he was a player who provided mobile size the for the Red Storm. His best game was a win over Seton Hal, where he scored six point with six rebounds and four blocks in 25 minutes of playing time.
