Marvin Clark is transferring from Michigan State Spartans to St. John's Red Storm

Michigan State transfer Marvin Clark has committed to St. John's, sources told ESPN.

Clark, who spent two seasons with the Spartans, took a visit to St. John's campus last weekend. He also visited Providence earlier this month.

Clark, a 6-foot-6 small forward, averaged 3.9 points and 2.5 rebounds this past season. He also shot 42.3 percent from 3-point range, something that intrigued the Red Storm staff.

Clark will sit out the 2016-17 season and then have two years of eligibility.

St. John's is also targeting Arizona transfer Justin Simon, who was on the Red Storm campus last weekend, and all signs point to Simon committing in the near future.
