According to his Twitter page, class of 2018 guard Luther Muhammad has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Muhammad has been a St. John’s target for years. He has been widely considered a four-star prospect as a member of the NY Rens AAU team.
Just this summer, Muhammad officially visited St. John’s. Briefly following his visit, it had seemed that momentum was in the Red Storm’s camp. The recruiting efforts were lead by both head coach Chris Mullin and coach Matt Abdelmassih.
Current Buckeye coach Chris Holtmann recruited Muhammad heavily while at Butler. Keeping up with the 6-foot-4 New Jersey guard has proved to be worth it for Holtmann.
