Late on Christmas Eve, the St. John’s received the surprise gift of talent in the form of 2018 four-star Garfield High forward J’Raan Brooks.
Brooks, ranked 77 in the 247Sports composite rankings, is a talented forward who is expected to earn major minutes as a freshman for the Johnnies.

Brooks, a 6’8” senior forward playing for a stacked Garfield High team in Seattle in his senior year, has been scoring 13 points per game this high school season per the Seattle Times.
