May 20th marked the 20th anniversary of the tragic death of former St. John’s star Malik Sealy.
The life and legacy of Sealy was highlighted by Zach Braziller of the New York Post, giving a detailed tribute to him.
Braziller’s piece describes how much of an impact he had both on and off the court and how his presence is still felt to this day.
Sealy played for the Red Storm from 1988-1992 and had a stellar career in Queens, averaging 18.9 points per game across his four years finishing with 2,402 points second only to Chris Mullin in program history.
