St. John’s senior Harry Cooksley, the Big East Offensive Player of the Year and Third Team All American by College Soccer News, will have his shot to make a strong impression on the Major League Soccer talent scouts at the annual Adidas MLS Players Combine in January, which is the last evaluation before the MLS draft on January 19th.
Of 60 players recently invited to the Adidas MLS Players Combine, seven of them are coming from Big East Schools:
- St. John’s’ midfielder/forward Harry Cooksley,
- Xavier defender Cory Brown,
- Georgetown midfielder Chris Lema,
- Creighton’s forward Ricky Lopez-Espin,
- Creighton defender Lucas Stauffer,
- and Providence forward Mac Steeves.
