Representatives from esports media holding company WePlay Esports, alongside professional boxers Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomechenko, have signed an agreement to create a company that will hold WePlay Ultimate Fighting League (WUFL) tournaments.
According to the release, the new company will develop products and operate worldwide, with some projects expected to go ‘beyond esports’. WUFL will also use resources from WePlay Esports and the assets of its partners to fulfil these goals.
The WePlay Ultimate Fighting League was officially revealed last December on the last day of the WePlay Dragon Temple Mortal Kombat 11 LAN in Kyiv.
