The 2014 FIFA World Cup starts in 10 days when host Russia kicks off against Saudi Arabia at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on June 14. But soccer fans won’t have to wait that long to watch reels of highlights from every World Cup since 1958. On Monday, FOX Sports launched The Highlight Machine, powered by IBM and presented by Adidas, to allow users to trawl through a huge archive of the best bits from past tournaments.
The highlights are drawn from 300 matches between 1958 and 2014, including finals, most knockout games, and the biggest upsets. Once the 2018 tournament starts, new highlights will be added quickly after each match ends.
