The University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union (UKFCU) has acquired the naming rights to an esports facility which is to be built on the campus of the University of Kentucky.
The UK Federal Credit Union Esports Lounge and Theater will act as the hub for the university’s esports program.
The 13-year naming rights deal builds on a relationship between the two parties which began in 1937 when the UKFCU was founded. More recently, the university entered a partnership with Gen.G Esports to build its esports program.
David Kennedy, President and CEO of the UKFCU, commented on the deal in a release: “We are very excited to be the official sponsor of the Esports Lounge at the University of Kentucky.
