Twitter To Live Stream 20 WNBA Regular Season Games Per Season Over Next Three Years

WNBA games will be live streamed on Twitter for the first time starting in two weeks as the first professional women’s sports events on the platform.

Twitter and the WNBA announced a multi-year streaming agreement Monday which will see the social platform live stream 20 regular season games per season over the next three years. As part of the partnership, the WNBA will join Twitter’s Amplify program, which include 40 weekly highlights packages distributed on Twitter.

“We are thrilled to bring live WNBA games to Twitter, which will allow us to further showcase our league to a global audience,” WNBA President Lisa Borders said in a statement.
