Toronto-based media company theScore Esports has been named the exclusive English language broadcast partner for the Legends of Leagues Pro League’s (LPL) Demacia Championship, an annual, 24-team Chinese League of Legends event.
theScore Esports will stream the Demacia Championship tournament, which runs from December 20th – 27th, on the company’s YouTube and Twitch channels from its Toronto headquarters. The event will be the media firm’s initial foray into live event broadcasting.
The Demacia Championship is hosted by TJ Sports, a joint venture between Tencent & Riot Games, which operates and manages the League of Legends’ Chinese outfit, LPL.
