French esports organisation Team Vitality has appointed Guillaume de Monplanet, formerly of adidas, as its Managing Director and Co-CEO.Monplanet joins the organisation after more than 20 years of experience in the sports and lifestyle sector. This includes tenures at Reebok as its Country Brand Director, France and an eight-year stint at adidas as the firm’s Managing Director for France.
According to the release, Monplanet’s role will be to assist in Team Vitality’s international expansion and brand-awareness plans. He will also be responsible for refining the organisation’s structure to increase efficiency and bolster its position outside of esports.
