Golf manufacturer TaylorMade has teamed with motion tracking company Blast Motion on its new tech-infused putter, the Spider Interactive Powered by Blast.
While TaylorMade has launched data-tracking platforms like its myRoundPro and drivers engineered with its new Twist Face technology, this putter is the company’s first totally-integrated golf sensor product. Among the stroke metrics that the Spider Interactive will measure are timing (such as backstroke time, forward stroke time and tempo) as well impact stroke speed and face rotation.
“When two industry leaders partner to combine innovative technology, and deliver a new user experience, it tends to set change in motion,” Michael Fitzpatrick, Blast Motion CEO and co-founder, said in a press release.
