The new Spyder NFC collection isn’t just sleek looking – it is wearable technology. Through its partnership with Smartrac, the apparel provider Spyder has created a new line of skiwear that with just the tap of a phone, can enable wearers to feel connected to members of the U.S. Ski Team through social media as well as share maps, snow conditions and location-based information.
The black jackets, which come in two different styles for men and women, each have a Spyder logo patch on the left breast pocket. By holding a phone up to the touch-point on the logo, users can engage with Spyder’s social media accounts which include featured videos and ski events.
