San Jose Earthquake’s Avaya Stadium Among Most Technologically Advanced In World

While fans at the sold-out Avaya Stadium watched their team win the home opener against the Chicago Fire this March, 256 GB of data was being transmitted through the stadium’s 170 wireless access points.

The 18,000 capacity Avaya Stadium is one of the most technologically advanced in the world. Its features allow the European-styled venue to provide an immersive and convenient experience to fans.

Located near the San Jose airport, Avaya Stadium is the first cloud-enabled venue in Major League Soccer. And with a cloud comes an app. Avaya Stadium’s app is available for both Android and iOS and you can connect to it on the aptly named GOQUAKES wireless network which covers the entire area of the stadium.
