Samsung has announced the release of three new wearable devices. Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 and Gear IconX are versatile by nature and aim to help users live a well-balanced, healthy life.
Gear Sport, a fitness-based smartwatch, and Gear Fit2, a GPS fitness band, have many of the same capabilities. Both are water-resistant and offer real-time heart rate monitoring. The devices also offer the ability to create your own wellness plan — and they help you stick to it with goals and alerts.
Thanks to a collaboration that began in earlier this year, Gear Sport and Fit2 support Under Armour fitness apps like UA Record, MyFitnessPal, MapMyRun and Endomondo.
