Riot Games has announced the Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies Championship, an official competition for its auto battler title.
The event will have a total prize purse of $200,000 (£160,126) and doesn’t have a set launch date at the time of writing.
Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies Championship will have regional qualifiers across Brazil, China, Europe, Latin America, North America, and South Korea.
Whalen Rozelle, Director of Global Esports at Riot Games, spoke on the event in a release: “With the Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies Championship, we want to reward all of the players who dedicate their time to mastering Teamfight Tactics and provide an additional goal that exists beyond reaching the top of the ladder.
