Esports talent agency Prodigy Agency has announced it has received €1m (£912,470) from esports venture capital fund Trust Esport.
The funding will be used to support its global expansion, recruit new team members, and to provide support to the agency’s representatives.
Prodigy Agency represents over 80 professional players across a range of titles including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, VALORANT, and Rocket League. In 2020, the agency expanded its offerings by hiring Sami “Rico” Harbi to lead its expansion into representing League of Legends players.
Jérôme Coupez, Founder and CEO of Prodigy Agency, commented on receiving the funding: “We are happy to welcome Trust Esport and Matthieu Dallon, a pioneer in Esports, to the Prodigy Family with whom we share a common vision of the development stakes of this ecosystem and the players, and a real passion for Esports.
