The PGA Tour will have two new mobile fitness centers outfitted with Technogym smart connected equipment as part of a new partnership between the organizations. The mobile fitness units will travel to 62 PGA Tour events per year for players to use both before and after competition.
Equipment in the workout centers will include Technogym’s Skillrun treadmills and the Skilltools training kit, which includes resistance bands, foam rollers, medicine balls, and other equipment focused on body mobility and stability.
“Since the original fitness centers were introduced on [the PGA Tour] more than 30 years ago, we have seen how fitness has advanced our players’ performance and extended their careers,” said PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan at The Honda Classic, according to a press release.
