Oxygen Esports unveils partnership with GUNNAR Optiks

Gaming-glasses manufacturer GUNNAR Optiks has announced it has entered a partnership with North American esports organisation Oxygen Esports.

The year-long deal will see the manufacturer become the exclusive eyewear provider of the organisation which launched in May 2020.

Said to reduce digital eye strain, GUNNAR has collaborated with a variety of companies and organisations in the industry, including tournament organiser ESL, peripherals company Razer, and video game developer Ubisoft.

Georgina Petrie, Marketing Director at GUNNAR Optiks, spoke on the deal in a release: “Our collaboration with Oxygen Esports made complete sense, particularly because of our licensing partnership with Ubisoft which includes the [Rainbow] Six: Siege franchise, and the fact that Oxygen Esports has a world-class roster; currently one of the top-performing teams in the NAL.
