The National Women’s Hockey League in its second season of existence is taking its games to television screens after live news network Cheddar announced Monday it would air NWHL weekend games on its new Sling TV channel for the rest of the season.
Cheddar became a live linear television network on Sling TV earlier this month, enabling customers to stream content including women’s hockey on television. The first broadcast will come Sunday as the Buffalo Beauts host the Boston Pride, and also that day, the game between the New York Riveters and Connecticut Whale will air on delay.
