The eNASCAR iRacing Invitational Series was united by NASCAR and the simulation running network iRacing.
It comes as Coca Cola becomes the official sponsor for eNascar.
In the series, the drivers will take part in a multi-week span starting on 22 March from the NASCAR Cup Series, the Xfinity and the Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series of NASCAR.
NASCAR postponed events until the third day of May, during the coronavirus pandemic, allowing for the Pro Invitation Series on iRacing, a sim-racing site used daily for the practice and training of NASCAR drivers.
NASCAR’s vice chairman of racing growth, Ben Kennedy, addressed in his release the need for the series: “The entire NASCAR community has been in line to give our fans a special, enjoyable and competitive racing experience before we have vehicles back on track.
