Monumental Sports Network has partnered with Keemotion, a provider or automated video production technology, to livestream youth and high school hockey games.
The Ted Leonsis-owned and Washington, D.C.-based regional sports network will produce and stream a number of games from the Kettler Capitals Iceplex, the practice rink of the NHL’s Capitals. Monumental and Keemotion debuted the partnered livestream during a high school game in January.
The tech that Keemotion brings to Monumental’s coverage includes a cloud-based network of motion-detecting cameras that can capture video of games and provide real-time analytics for coaches, teams, and leagues. Fans, subscribers, coaches, and teams can view and share highlights on social media via Monumental’s website and mobile app and through Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Xbox One, Apple TV and other services.
