The first MLB Virtual Interview Day was held Monday, giving applicants a one-day opportunity to digitally record video responses to pre-recorded interview questions for spots in Major League Baseball’s Summer Internship Program.
The questions will be shared with any MLB entity chosen by applicants who can submit them to as many of the 33 entities as they like, including the 30 teams plus MLB, MLB Advanced Media and MLB Network.
To apply, an intern candidate needed to have a smartphone or tablet with a camera or a computer with a webcam.
While there is no one there in person to ask the applicant questions, MLB highlighted the aspect that this is a real and serious interview.
