Recreational esports competition platform Mission Control has hired Abel Rios as its Chief Technology Officer.
The company’s Chief Revenue Officer is Daniel Herz, the former CRO and Vice President of North American organisation Complexity Gaming.
With almost 20 years of experience in software development, Rios has spent most of his career leading product development at the likes of Yahoo! and Ooyala. At Mission Control, he will lead the product team and have oversight on the development of the company’s platform.
Rios spoke on the venture in a release: “Joining the Mission Control team is a unique opportunity for me to connect my passion for gaming, sports, and software development.
