UK-based esports organisation Method has agreed a one-year partnership with charity stream platform Softgiving, it has been announced.
The two organisations aim to “create monthly charity streaming events for select non-profit organisations” and to “provide the tools and resources needed to create memorable and impactful fundraisers,” according to a release.
The partnership officially commenced on May 27th with the Method Mayhem tournament. The StarCraft II competition raised funds for Rise Above the Disorder, which provides a universal mental healthcare system for youth worldwide. RAD has covered mental health care expenses for more than 35,000 people across 132 countries in the past three years.
