Mercedes-owned Formula One team Mercedes-AMG Petronas has announced a partnership with American multinational semiconductor company AMD.
The deal will see AMD equip the organisation with its products—mainly graphics cards and desktop processors—as well as other hardware and software that has been ‘optimized’ for gaming.
Moreover, AMD will contribute gaming systems to Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Training Facility in Brackley, UK, which is expected to be revealed later this year.
John Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer at AMD, commented: “AMD is committed to pushing the boundaries of technology to provide the best possible gaming experiences.
