Spanish multimedia communications group MEDIAPRO and esports tournament organiser Liga de Videojuegos Profesional (LVP) have announced it will produce the third season of eLiga Portugal.
According to a release, MEDIAPRO will produce the competition while LVP will be in charge of sports management.
The third season of competition will feature professional FIFA players representing a total of 17 Liga NOS teams. The third season kicks off in November and concludes in April 2021 with a Grand Final where $50,000 (£37,106) in prize money will be up for grabs.
Jordi Soler, CEO of LVP, spoke on working on the tournament: “We have been organising esports competitions around the world for more than 10 years and for us it’s an honor to be able to export our successful model to Portugal.
