Spanish brand MAD Lions has renewed its partnership with the Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft for the 2020 season.
Based in Madrid, the Global Sports Innovation Center is a non-profit organisation that will provide MAD Lions with new business opportunities.
MAD Lions currently fields two teams, competing in Riot Games’ LEC and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. It’s owned by Overactive Media, the parent company of Call of Duty League franchise Toronto Ultra and Overwatch League franchise Toronto Defiant.
Samuel “Vegetta777” de Luque, Partner of MAD Lions, commented on the renewal in a release: “For us it is an honor to be able to be part of GSIC powered by Microsoft as the only esports club.
