Jared Jeffries recently served as the Denver Nuggets’ director of pro personnel after playing 11 NBA seasons. Now he’s leaving basketball to become a front office executive in a new industry — esports.
Jeffries was announced as president of Echo Fox on Thursday, as starting Aug. 1 he will be responsible for player recruiting and team development in the professional esports organization that is owned by former NBA player Rick Fox. According to Vision Venture Partners, Jeffries will also involved in roster selection, team management, hiring and managing team coaches and GMs and overseeing player training, health and wellness programs.
