British grassroots esports organisation LDN UTD has appointed Jacob Harrison as its Chief Gaming Officer (CGO).
Harrison brings a wealth of event organisation experience to his new position, having previously served as both as a community leader and as a product manager at ESL and BLAST.
As LDN UTD’s new CGO, Harrison intends to expand the organisation’s social change-driven platform using his advanced research degree in International Development from the University of Oxford. Specifically, Harrison intends to “drive a step-change in LDN UTD’s capacity to use gaming and esports to provide opportunity and accessibility to young gamers whilst addressing the most pressing social problems.
