The International Journal of Esports (IJESPORTS) has released the first issue of its academic journal dedicated to publishing esports research.With topics ranging from the sector’s financial valuations to medical devices, IJESPORTS hopes that the issue brings ‘quality research to the forefront of esports’ as the industry’s business sector continues to develop and grow year-on-year.
Speaking on the launch of the first issue, Dr Aaron Koshy, Chief Editor of IJESPORTS, commented: “I am incredibly happy that our launch went smoothly. Academic publishing is hard work and there were over 30 people working behind the scenes to make the first issue a success.
