At the Masters Tournament this weekend, IBM will use its artificial intelligence Watson to sift through hundreds of hours of play and produce customized video highlights for fans.
IBM this week introduced an automated, personalized highlight reel service called “My Moments” that will be available to fans for free through Masters.com and the tournament’s iPhone and Android apps.
The service will enable fans to choose to receive highlights from their favorite players. It will then use artificial intelligence to determine when an individual last signed into a Masters digital property so that it can serve them customized highlights that they might have missed in between sessions.
