Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins announced Wednesday the launch of the company’s new live TV streaming beta service called Hulu with Live TV, with subscribers to the $39.99/month service able to enjoy plenty of sports live and record it as well.
Hulu with Live TV includes content from ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, and channels including CBS Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports and TNT.
Two days before the launch, Hulu brought in more sports channels with Monday’s announcement of a deal with NBCUniversal. That gave viewers access to stream Sunday Night Football and the Olympics along with NBCSN, Golf Channel and NBC Sports Regional Networks in Chicago, Philadelphia, New England, Mid-Atlantic, Bay Area, California and Northwest.
