Panasonic demonstrated new technology at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, including what the company called Window Augmented Reality Projection. This technology could change the way spectators inside stadium suite levels view the game.
Window Augmented Reality Projection can be done with transparent film attached to a windowpane. It’s “a special film applied to allow you to overlay AR effects on top of it, so that special film on the glass allows images to be projected without obscuring your view of the live action on the field.”
A tablet is used to control what appears on the glass, from a team roster to live feeds of different stadium cameras.
