Riot Games has revealed that the 2021 League of Legends World Championship would be held in five Chinese cities.
The multi-city trip will stop in Shanghai, Qingdao, Wuhan, and Chengdu before concluding on November 6th at the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen for the World Championship Finals.
In January, the developer announced Shenzhen as the host city for the Worlds Final.
“We’ve locked in the five Chinese locations following a very competitive bidding process,” said John Needham, Riot Games’ Global Head of Esports. We’re now ready to make good on our promise to players by launching a multi-city tour for the world’s largest esports event.
