The United States Golf Association is launching a variety of updates across two apps ahead of the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
In addition to announcing an over-the-top streaming web app in partnership with Cisco, the association’s official technology partner, the USGA has also announced new virtual and augmented reality experiences that are meant to supplement the fan experience.
In a relaunched U.S. Open app, fans will be able to access a 360-degree experience that aims to make them feel as if they are actually on the course, and behind the scenes, at the tournament.
