Tournament organiser ESL has announced that it is to expand the ESL Mobile Open into the Middle East and North Africa for its second season.
Over 500,000 players participated in the inaugural season of the mobile-focused competition, according to a release.
The tournament is to double the number of titles for players to compete on. For the second season, Asphalt 9, Clash of Clans, Auto Chess, and PUBG Mobile have been selected for competition. Alongside the new titles, players will compete for a share of an €85,000 (£76,564) prize pool.
Oliver Maxield, Senior Global Product Manager at ESL, commented on the expansion in a release: “We’re very excited to build on the success of 2019’s Season 1 by expanding ESL Mobile Open into the MENA region for 2020, while continuing to expand in Europe.
