New plans for the esports section of the first-person shooter VALORANT, developed by Riot Games have been announced.
The project has identified the key elements of its activities and criteria for the Community competition. Riot Games says that its plans for VALORANT’s strategic activities include corporate honesty, transparency and authenticity.
This seeks to make the game “merit-based tournaments” appropriate for aspiring professionals. The Community Guidelines were developed to aid the promoters of third parties in coordinating activities on first-person shooters.
The company also found that it visited more than 100 sports organisations to discuss their title plans and to receive input.
