DreamHack and ESL have extended their media rights deal with Hungarian esports outlet Esport1 for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ESL Pro Tour.
First established in the early stages of 2019, the deal will now last through to March 2023.
Esport1 has acquired the rights to distribute, promote, and broadcast licensed content of all ESL Pro Tour stops for CS:GO through its own channels. The agreement is exclusively centred around broadcasting in Hungarian language.
Frank Uddo, Senior Vice President Global Media at ESL, spoke on the extension in a release: “We are delighted to expand our portfolio and secure a long-term agreement with Esport1.
