NEW YORK — ESPN Films and Netflix are teaming up on a jointly produced docuseries that will feature Michael Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls dynasty.
The 10-hour, 10-part film, The Last Dance, will draw on more than 500 hours of previously unseen footage from the franchise’s sixth and final NBA title of the decade in 1997-98. The series will be released in 2019, and will feature the full participation of Jordan himself.

The director for the project is Jason Hehir, whose previous ESPN credits include The Fab Five, The ’85 Bears, and Andre the Giant.
